2006 - Tyler Bateman def AWOL for the MSWA Tri-State Title. He was the last MSWA Tri-State Champion because after winning the title Bateman threw it in the trash. The title was discontinued after that.

Taste of Vengeance

On August 20, 2011 we returned to the West Coast Wrestling Company to face off against the 16 year old Ryan Kidd. Would you believe us if we told you he is one of the most fearless wrestlers we have met to date? To look the Devil in the eye and not hesitate to dance takes some guts; guts Ryan Kidd has.

At the end of the match Krazy Kyle Haystacks decides to lay out a challenge to us. While the fans cheered and supported every word that Haystacks recited we took our leave. Do we accept? Do we not?.............

August 19 & 20

In a last minute turn of events on August 19 Tyler Bateman will be stepping into the ring against Devin Sparks & Willie Mack for a triple threat match. It's been a while since all three of the competitors have stood across the ring from one another and we are looking forward to getting out hands dirty in Chino, CA.

It was about a month ago that we were notified of our match up against Ryan Kidd at the West Coast Wrestling Company this Saturday in Lake Elsinore, CA. Time flies when you're planning demise. A credit to Kidd, he's got spirit but spirit will only take you so far. Hope Kidd wakes up that morning, has his cheerios and drinks his milk to become big and strong because that night he will be dealing with a war machine. Bet on brutality. Bet on a battle. You will not be let down.

Choice of Fate

Sometimes the greatest of battles come on the backs of spontaneity and discord. It is in these times that we push forward and become what we know we can be. This is what happened when Gary Yap and Anthony Maris, owners of EPIC WAR, commissioned a match to take place at the Insane Wrestling League in the City of Industry, CA against California local Tyler Bateman and Iowa's own Jaysin Strife. Having never squared off one on one Bateman and Strife were more than looking forward for the opportunity to test each other's mettle, but when a last minute change threatened the setup of the match the opponents stood firm in wanting to complete to what they had committed.

What transpired the day of and during the match was something that would split the owners of EPIC WAR, damage friendships, and provide a hard hitting battle the men felt for days after...

Prelude...

Biography	Born, raised, and trained in Oklahoma Tyler Bateman broke in to the wrestling business in 2001 at New Mid-South Wrestling. He spent the first part of his career wrestling throughout the Mid-South and surrounding areas. In October 2006 at 5:30am Tyler met Raze in a parking lot in Oklahoma City, where she offered to show him wrestling in California. October 2007 Tyler came to California and in February 2008 he introduced Southern Hostility to Epic War. May 2008 the faction Violence Unlimited (Ryan Drago, Funny Bone, and Tyler Bateman) was formed. June 2008 VU made their wrestling debut at EPIC WAR'S "Menage a Trios" accompanied by RAZE as their valet. Over the years since then RAZE took on the managerial role being dubbed "The Brains behind the Brutality" and continued on to manage Tyler in his singles career. With his Southern training and love of British, Puroresu, and Old School Styles; Tyler is known for his intense, hard hitting work and with RAZE for their off the wall promos.
